On February 17, 2024, a terrible fire resulted in the complete destruction of Red Fire Farm’s beloved Granby barn and farm store. Thanks to community support we’ve made it through the recovery by running the operation through a temporary farm stand village at 7 Carver Street. We are grateful for everything and love you all.

Now, 19 months later, we have broken ground for building a new barn and community food store. It will be the heartbeat for the future of the farm, enabling the farm to continue serving the community and feeding thousands of people throughout the state. The total cost of construction is estimated to be $1.2 million, and with funding from a state grant and the farm’s own investment, there remains a shortfall of more than $400,000 due to increased building costs. Without this new barn, Red Fire Farm cannot remain financially sustainable.

Please help us build the barn so we can continue to serve the community by feeding thousands of people throughout the state.

Now more than ever, it’s important for us to be able to connect with our community. By joining our mailing list, you’ll be able to receive updates about the farm, rebuilding efforts, and volunteer opportunities that become available in the coming months.

4. Shop our organic produce in Granby and at farmers markets

Though our primary retail space in Granby was lost, we’re still growing and selling lots of organic produce. Happily, our temporary store is now up and running in Granby, which you can visit at 7 Carver Street (store hours and details). You can find our current farmers market booths on Tuesdays in Northampton and Springfield and on Saturdays in Amherst (current market details). You can also place bulk orders via our online form.

5. Sign up for a CSA Farm Share

Our farm shares happen year round, and we welcome you to eat with the seasons with us.  It’s a great way to support the farm and enjoy delicious organic vegetables and local add-ons all year long!
