Are you interested in helping build the local food scene in 2022? Are you looking to get in a weekly workout and having fresh organic veggies to take home?

We are looking for people with retail experience and a love for organic vegetables to join our retail team! Your day will start early in the morning at our farm in Montague, where you’ll help load (and sometimes drive) a box truck to the market, hustle to set up a beautiful display, talk to customers, and then bring all the gear back at the end of the day. Or you could meet us at the market, to help us get set up!

Market day options are Tuesday and Friday, and we would be looking for you to be available for the season from May into November, winter market work available too. Position can be combined with other work on the farm for more hours if desired.

Requirements: Warm smile, able to lift 30-45 lbs repeatedly, valid drivers license and good driving record. Must be willing to follow Red Fire Farm Covid-19 related safety prevention policies, in addition to any market location specific policies.

We can train you on all our wild diversity of vegetables and fruit, but it’s great if you like to talk about food.

Compensation: The pay is $14.25-$15/ hour, PLUS all the organic veggies you can eat to take home AND the ability to trade with some of the other market vendors for more goodies.
