Afternoon Strawberry Tasting at the Farmstand
2-5 pm in the Red Fire Farm Barn

Join us at the farm in Granby for a celebration of the strawberry during the peak of picking season! We grow nine varieties of strawberries, each with their own flavor.
Come in the afternoon to try a tasting of the many strawberry varieties, enjoy some live music, and pick your own organic berries (PYO is for CSA members only, but everyone is welcome for the event and dinner). Snow and snap peas should be ripe as well. Strawberry shortcake for sale in the barn! Also, quarts of our strawberries and local cream to take home!

Strawberry Feast in the Fields

Later in the afternoon, join us for a lovely meal in the strawberry fields. Mosey on over to the field starting around 5:30, dinner at about 6pm. Created by our Red Fire Chef with seasonal produce from our farm and featuring local products from other area farms!

Strawberry Buttermilk Soup (served chilled)

Choice of Entree:
Spanikopita (spinach pie)

Creamy Polenta with Braised Greens

(Both entrees can be made Vegan, please make sure to specify that you'd like your entree to be vegan when you purchase tickets.)

Side:
Roasted Spring-Dug Parsnips

Dessert:
Strawberry Shortcake with Fresh Whipped Cream

Drinks:
A Regional Wine
and
Strawberry Lemonade

Ticket Prices:
Red Fire Members : $20 per person
Non-members: $24 per person
Children 5 - 12 - half of the adult price.
Children under 5 free.
