Open House and Afternoon Tea

with the Kick-off for the Whole Farm Affordability Campaign!

1pm-5pm ~ Open Greenhouse for Plant Sales!

Come for the whole day, or any part of the afternoon you'd like. The only part you need tickets for is the Afternoon Tea - everything else is free and open to the public!

Garden Cleanup -Volunteers needed
9 am - 12pm - RSVP To Volunteer

Get down and dirty and help us cleaup the old Blue Meadow display gardens (full of crazy beautiful perennial plants, and now invasives). Seeking 10-15 persons slightly experienced in gardening to lend a hand. Email events@redfirefarm.com to RSVP to help out. Tell us if you have gloves or any garden tools you can bring to use. RSVPed volunteers there from 9-12 get free tickets to the Afternoon Tea.

Kick-Off Celebration & Tree Planting for Whole Farm Affordability Campaign
1 pm - OPen to All

Mount Grace Land Conservation Trust kicks off the campaign to preserve the Montague farmland and infrastructure together in perpetuity for the community. Come learn a little more about the campaign and how the farmland to lease model will help provide affordable access to farmland, and also meet the folks from the Land Trust!

Wagon Tour and walking Tour
1:45 pm - OPen to All

Tractor and Wagon Ride Tour around the farm with farmer Ryan, and Walking Tour with farmer Sarah. Open to everyone! Come see the fields, buildings, and greenhouses with a bit of story.

Afternoon Tea on the Farm ~ Reserve Tickets Now!
3 pm - Ticket Holders Only

Enjoy a visit to the farm, and a spot of tea! Bring your mum if you like! We'll be baking some very tasty treats to offer, and a line-up of delicious teas to fortify you in the mid-afternoon.

Call or e-mail the farm with questions and to check availability as we have limited spots, 413-467-7645.

   To buy tickets online, please select the ticket type you'd like below and then add it to your cart (at which point you can change the number you want to buy on the Paypal page). Click "Continue Shopping" on the Paypal page to come back here and add more tickets.

Buying tickets here will get your name on the list for however many tickets you order. Make sure to type in your name in the comments area of the PayPal checkout. The "shipping" cost is for our processing of the order.

Plants for Sale in the greenhouse - See Everything Growing!

Select plants for your garden from our organically-grown greenhouse, with many options. Flowers, Herbs, Hanging Baskets, Vegetable Starts and more. For herbs, thyme, basil, chocolate mint, pineapple mint, oregano, lemongrass and lavender to name a few. For flowers, magenta and blue torenia, nasturtiums, sweet alyssum, thunbergia, spicy orange nemesia, pansies, petunias, lantana, heliotrope, many colors of sweet potato vine, portulaca, snap dragons, strawflowers and more.  

And of course we'll have vegetable plants too. Our favorite field-tested varieties.

The rest of the season our organic plants will be available at our Old Depot Gardens farm stand in Montague (starting April 28th), as well as our farm stand in Granby.
