If you want to eat local, organic, fresh and great tasting produce grown by Red Fire Farm, but the normal CSA program does not work for you, this program will!
You can also get a Farmstand Membership to supplement your CSA share if you buy local products often.
How it works:
A Farm Stand & Market Membership costs $300. This is a pre-paid Farm Account, that you can draw on throughout the season.
A Farm Stand Membership entitles you to $330 (a 10% discount) in credit at
any RedFire Farm retail location including:
Old Depot Gardens Farm Stand in Montague Center,
The Granby Farm Stand,
and any of our Farmers Market Booths (Springfield at Forest Park, Amherst at Kendrick Park, and Boston South Station.)
Additional credit can be purchased at $90 for $100 credit.
All credit on a farmstand membership must be used in the growing season it was purchased and does not roll over to the next year, because it is a membership in the growing season!
You can select exactly the produce you need when you need it.
Credit can be used for all products sold at the farm stands, not just produce
You can stop any day, no worrying about vacations or showing up at our designated CSA pick up time
Membership entitles you to pay-per-item Pick Your Own privileges for the farm's organic strawberry, pea, bean, cherry tomato, hot pepper, ground cherry, cut flowers, and other crops at our fields in Granby or Montague.
Pick your own prices will be approximately half of what the items cost at the retail stand.
Cutting privileges in the herb and cut flower patches are free with membership.
Receive our newsletter,The Red Fire Reader (full of recipes, farm news, and sustainable agriculture information), by e-mail every other week.
Free admission to our famous Tomato Festival.
(
Other events such as Feasts in the Field available at a discounted farm member price).
New: We now have Pick Your Own fields in Montague at 184 Meadow Road for our members in the Montague and Franklin County area. We also have PYO in Granby.
Farm Stand Membership vs. CSA Membership:
If you eat lots of vegetables, the CSA is still a better deal for you, and it helps us plan our season and our daily harvests.
Farmstand memberships can work well if you need a more flexible schedule or want to buy lots of local products in addition to a CSA share.
